- I will ensure full transparency and accountability in the department’s budget—every dollar will be allocated purposefully and spent responsibly.
- I will make equipping every Police Officer and Correctional Officer with the tools they need a top priority. Ensuring they have the proper resources is essential to public safety and effective law enforcement.
- I recognize the urgent need for improvements at the County Jail. Cleanliness and safety must be enhanced to ensure a secure and humane environment for both officers and inmates.
- I will implement ways to better the communication in the department. We will listen—then act—when and where it's needed.
- I would like to upgrade our Animal Shelter to a state-of-the-art Animal facility. More space and adequate amenities, and a more humane environment for the animals it houses. Evidence of the need for this is apparent everywhere in all of Lake County.
- I will prioritize building meaningful partnerships and better communication with our schools and neighborhoods.
- Our children are a priority. We will maintain a comprehensive, county-wide emergency response plan in all Lake County Schools to ensure our children are in a safe environment.
- I will bring back programs like D.A.R.E., Explorers, and Open Gym Night at schools. I want to develop a relationship and open communication with our youth.
- I will create a Sheriff's Night Out to all communities across the county.
